The Kitchen

Villa Toscana's fabulous kitchen features custom designed plaster hand-painted ceiling tiles and dome.  The griffin pulls were designed and created in Hawaii by jewelry designer Gayle Bright.   The custom plates inset in tile were commissioned on a trip to Italy with an artist from San Gimignano.

The hand-carved griffin corbels separating the kitchen from hearth rooms were hand-carved in Romania.  The island granite was imported and the rope design sculpted by local artisans.  The handmade wall tiles are from Santa Fe.

The kitchen is a true chef's dream.  It is equipped with pull out drawers, Wolf appliances, two dishwashers, two ovens – one electric, one gas, - two pull out trash compartments, a Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, prep sink, two pull-out spice racks, pull out storage drawers in cabinets, extra storage space in cabinets under island and pot filler above the stove.  There is also a Wolf warming conveniently located in the butler pantry.

Hearth Room

The hearth room features an impressive ceiling design and rich wood trim. A hand-carved leaf design accents the ceiling beams.  The Jeremy Morelli stone fireplace was hand-carved.  The wood burning fireplace features a custom forged iron fireplace screen.
