The welcoming boutique hotel-like entry has a beautiful patterned cobble and blue stone. The driveway is heated to create efficient snow melt.  Large wood garage doors offer two banks for two cars each, both heated.

The garages have a large work area with extensive built in cabinets, large storage closet with solid wood door, built-in refrigerator, and plenty of tilt and turn German Konnen windows.

 

Ariel Gelman landscape designer.  Designs by Sundown provided landscape work, spa design and a large boulder spa with lighting and music, fire pit, spacious stone terraces and rock waterfall/firepit on the main terrace. Most plants and shrub species installed are native and drought resistant, minimizing the need for watering.

Mature native trees were saved and incorporated into the landscape design (including two towering trees in the terrace). Leaving the trees intact as much as possible prevents slope erosion, shades the home, and provides a natural habitat for wildlife.

The three inch thick hand-chiseled stone exterior (consistent grout lines) also acts as a thermal barrier to temperature fluctuations.
